Arena and Function Room Hire

The Arena

EquiSucceed NZ is proud to offer our indoor riding arena for hire. Our 70m X 25m riding space with additional mounting area is filled with Grade 2 River Sand on Base Course, which makes the surface very good for horses.

We keep it regularly groomed and watered to keep it in great shape and ready for use. It also has mounted dressage markers, a viewing area with seating, plus kitchen and bathroom facilities with a shower.

Function Room

Our Function Room can be used as one large open space that seats 49, or divided into two sections with a sliding partition. A great space for meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, celebrations and more...

Function Room hire includes

Kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, including a small fridge and microwave
Whiteboard, table and seating
Bathroom facilities

Multi-Purpose Arena/Stage

There is also a large stage at one end of the arena which lends itself to a variety of uses: presentations, performing arts practice, yoga, music events.

So overall, our weatherproof facilities can be used by individuals or groups for equine and non-equine events: dressage training, equestrian training clinics, private functions or sporting events, events that need a stage... and more.

Arena Availability

Monday-Thursday: After 4.00pm

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: All day.

Primary School Holidays: All day.

Casual Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour for the first horse and $10.00 per hour for each additional horse. Includes use of bathroom facilities & horse stalls.

Part Day Hire (up to 4 hours) $100.00 per part day. Includes use of bathroom facilities & horse stalls.

Full Day Hire (8am - 4pm): $150.00 per day. Includes use of bathroom facilities & horse stalls.

NOTE: There is no grazing on site.

Camping is available on request.

Kitchen and Function Room available on request.

Function Room Availability

Seven Days per week

Includes kitchenette and bathroom facilities.

Half Day (9am-12:30pm or 1pm-4:30pm): $75.00.

Full Day (9am-4:30pm): $150.00.

Evening (7pm-10pm): $40.00.

Terms & Conditions

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The hirer will be responsible at all times for the proper control of spectators, competitors and all persons hiring the facility.
NO SMOKING on the premises, whatsoever.
NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed on the premises.
NO GLASS is to be taken into the arena.
NO DOGS on the property at any time.
Entry for trucks and horse floats is through the gate into the paddock. Cars only may use the tar-sealed carpark.
There are to be no horse vehicles or horses on the tar-seal.
EquiSucceed NZ will not accept responsibility or liability in respect of any damage to or loss of property.
EquiSucceed NZ will not be held responsible for any injury or illness which may occur to you or your horse while on EquiSucceed premises.
The hirer will be responsible for providing their own first aid kit for their event.
The hazards relating to this arena and surrounding areas are noted and displayed accordingly. Please ensure you take the time to read the notices and ensure course participants are made aware of the hazards.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the riding therapy work at EquiSucceed NZ, there is to be NO JUMPING in this arena.
